Pastor brent has been the Head pastor since the inception of The Link in 2011 but has been in ministry for more than two decades.  He grew up in different parts of Colorado and Oklahoma.  He joined the Army at 17 and served for 12 years before stepping into full-time ministry. He and his wife Malisa have been married for over 35 years and have 6 children. In his free time, he enjoys spending his time with his 6 kids and 11 grandchildren.

Pastor Conner Grew up here in Elk City. He volunteered in children's ministry throughout junior high and high school. Conner was in the oilfield for almost two years before he came on staff at The Link in March of 2018 as a youth and children's pastor. Now he serves as Director of Children's Ministries. In 2019 he and his wife, Genifer, got married and they now have 5 children. in his free time, he enjoys hunting, camping, and golfing.

Genifer is our Women’s & Youth volunteer. She is passionate about helping people grow in their faith and truly understand their identity in Christ. With a heart for both youth and women, she serves by creating spaces where people can be real, feel seen, and encounter God in a meaningful way.

She has a deep love for the next generation and is committed to walking alongside young people as they navigate life, ask hard questions, and develop a faith that is strong and personal. In women’s ministry, she values authenticity, connection, and encouraging women to step confidently into who God has called them to be.

Outside of ministry, she is a wife to Pastor Conner Gifford and mom of 5. Whether she is teaching, leading, or having one-on-one conversations, her heart is always to point people back to God’s truth and help them live with purpose, freedom, and confidence.
